Front End Lead/Cashier

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• To ensure the safety of everyone involved, always report any safety risks or illegal activity right away
• Immediate notification of accidents involving customers or employees should be given to management
• To maintain operational efficiency, it is essential to conduct preventive maintenance on equipment by carrying out regular inspections and notifying the appropriate department or store manager of any malfunctions
• Boost safety strategies by adhering to safety measures, detecting risky circumstances, and communicating with store executives
• Consistency in maintaining ideal temperatures inside cases and coolers while logging them regularly is vital
• Any equipment or utensils that are used during food preparation must be properly cleaned and disinfected before use to ensure that they do not contaminate the food
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advertisement campaigns, whether they are current, future, seasonal, or special, to keep informed about the latest promotions
• Embracing positivity can help you overcome obstacles and achieve your goals
• Any discrepancies between product orders and shipments should be reported to the department manager right away
• Organize, store, and maintain inventory of merchandise; provide customers with prompt and effective service for products they have ordered
• Review the sell-by dates of the merchandise and take necessary action to maintain its freshness. If the product is nearing its expiration, take appropriate action
• Advise customers on the nutritional content of products, highlighting the benefits of healthier options and providing information on diet-specific products
• Establish and keep up-to-date knowledge of the goods available in the department and be able to reply to questions and give advice about the products
• Provide clear and concise answers to your customers' inquiries, while also taking the time to explain complex concepts in a way that is easy for them to understand
• Creating a culture built on trust and respect can lead to improved communication and more effective problem-solving
• To succeed in this role, it is necessary to be able to perform the key job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations

Qualifications:

Minimum

• Maintaining composure under pressure can signify strong leadership qualities, particularly in challenging work environments
• Effective communication skills
• Familiarity with basic math concepts, including counting, adding, and subtracting, is essential for understanding more advanced mathematical principles and theories
